Description
On a light blue disc as a stylized mine, displaying two gold land masses surmounted by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Warfare insignia at top center and above, to the left, the Naval Aviator insignia and to the right, the Surface Warfare Officer insignia, all silver and in base a white naval flag edged and inscribed 52 in blue; the top two gold firing pins surmounting a circular dark blue designation band edged with a gold rope border, with the inscription COMMANDER TASK FORCE FIVE TWO in white letters and below an arching group of the Australian, American, and British flags Proper, edged gold, respectively.

Symbolism
Blue and gold are the colors traditionally associated with the United States Navy. The land mass refers to the area of operations for Commander Task Force Five Two, Bahrain being central. The insignia reflect the many teams that work together to strengthen national and coalition mine warfare capabilities.
